|I couldn't find a good picture for this post, but I finally decided|
on this once, 'cause it's writing-related and it's got Richard Armitage
who, of course, played Guy in BBC's Robin Hood. Plus, it's a
funny picture :)
Ze Great Writing Contest begins now.
Well, let me lay out the rules and regulations and all that boring stuff before you go wild writing fan-fiction and Olde English style ballads, etc, etc, etc.
- Your entry must be between 50 and 5,000 words long. It can be pretty much any kind of writing you want - fan-fiction, a retelling of an old legend, a completely new Robin Hood story, a poem (free verse, rhyming, or even haiku, if you feel so led), or a ballad, which is pretty much the same thing, but it's usually long than a poem and tells a specific story.
- Your entry must be clean. I will immediately disqualify any entries that are not.
- The deadline is November 7th. I will not be receiving any more entries then, so you should have your entry emailed to me beforehand. I did announce this writing contest a couple of weeks, or so ago, so some of you probably already have your entries.
- The entries will be judged, and the winner announced on November 8th. There will be three judges, who shall remain anonymous, but be assured that their judgement will be unbiased and based solely on the merits of the entries themselves. There will be only one winner, and that person will receive a prize, as pictured below.
